As per the lockdown starting in a few days, we are giving notice to all of our students registered for in-person training for the next few months, courses are postponed until further notice. . . We also will send out some emails to specific course registrants to confirm what the plan is for those postponed high demand courses like the Canadian Restricted/Non-Restricted Firearms Safety Course. .... . Force on Force Scenario Training starts up again this Thursday 6pm - register via email. [email protected]. . . This is now how we regulate speed and power for scenario training. In this example, I will defend gun grabs while staff changes speed/power based on a stoplight system. Green is go 100% (relative to each person, both ways), including strikes. Yellow is resistance, power without speed for example. Red is a stop to check technique. Either person can call thi...s at any time. . . What are your thoughts? This Remembrance Day, to our veteran community: we encourage communication. We thank you for your service and despite the pandemic hope you connect with those that matter to you today. . . Reach out to your friends and family. Remember the fallen always, but also prevent more unnecessary suicide of veterans by opening up a simple line of communication, checking in. .... . I was reminded by a great friend yesterday to do this. It's easy to let ties slip, but a simple text like "I value you" can change someone's day. As soldiers, we tend to say nice things in private and razz each other in person. Say something simple but meaningful and see what happens. . . Groups like @madhatterindustries and @bushwookieapparel are pushing these lines of thinking forward, promoting mental health and the community itself. Please support them. . .
