World Diabetes Day is in one week! WDD is the world’s largest diabetes awareness campaign reaching a global audience of over 1 billion people in more than 160 ...countries. The campaign draws attention to issues of paramount importance to the diabetes world and keeps diabetes firmly in the public and political spotlight. Celebrate with us and wear blue to help spread awareness. Some landmarks will also light up in blue in support, such as Niagara Falls, the CN Tower and Toronto City Hall! I’m really looking forward to getting back together even in a social distancing enviornment, and the flu shot gives me that comfort level that I think it’s important. As for Fallon, getting the flu shot plays a key role in staying healthy. I’m getting the flu shot this year because I believe in insurance. This is another way of protecting my health, she says.
