Please bring your own mask and use the hand sanitizer provided at the door. We are winning this war with COVID-19 but we have to keep up with these protocols to preserve the gains we have made. Now that the viral pandemic has reached Orillia (one positive test and a slew of potentially positive tests) I feel we must close our clinic to help stop the spread and to protect our patients from exposure. Please bear with us, we are all in this together. We will be closed indefinitely (at least two weeks). Patients will receive a phone call to re-book appointments when we can safely re-open the office. If you are concerned you have been exposed and are showing symptoms ...(dry cough, fever and lethargy), know the hospital has opened a drive-through assessment centre where a nurse will assess you while you are in your car and can send you for further testing if deemed appropriate. Just enter Volunteer Drive (on the west side of the hospital) from Mississaga Street (they've made it one-way) and staff there will direct you. Good luck and good health to all.

In consultation with our provincial association advisors we are staying open for now, but with strict new protocols: The front desk, doors, doorknobs, pens, etc are disinfected repeatedly throughout the day Benches are disinfected after every treatment The doctor disinfects his hands after every treatment... Appointments are being spread out to limit time in waiting room for patients While we feel it is safe to attend our office, we do recommend immuno-compromised and elderly patients delay their routine visits during the height of the viral outbreak to avoid any risk by entering public spaces.
