#MTTM! The force is strong with this one Hasualya joined the ChocoSol team on May 4th, 2020. She had recently gone fully vegan and wanted to work somewhere more in line with her environmental and plant-based values. Of course, the delicious chocolate helped! Hausalya’s current role is Wholesale & Operations Animator. She loves nerding out on the graphs and numbers behind all our wholesale logistical operations just as much as she loves working with our growing network of retail partners who carry our chocolate and coffee in their stores. When asked her favourite chocolate, it’s an easy answer: Jaguar Swirl, hands down. And speaking of swirls, Hausalya is an avid latin and soca dancer, and has recently started to share a few at-home cardio choreography videos online!

Meet the Team Monday! Say hello or hola to Diego! Coming from Ecuador and a family-run cacao business, Diego has a rooted passion for cacao. He first met our founder, Michael, at a cacao conference in Ecuador, and became interested in ChocoSol’s mission to use cacao and healthy chocolate to create social good. Diego joined the team in Canada in February of 2020 as our new Logistics & Supply Chain Manager. With COVID19 moving our sales online, Diego also plays a key role in he...lping to coordinate our online store logistics! If you’ve ordered from us online, Diego likely had a hand in making sure your chocolates arrived at your door! Diego is passionate about marketing and telling the ChocoSol story- all the way from our farming producers to our chocolate bars. Move over PSL- it's time for a Jaguar Pumpkin Spice Drinking Chocolate. Try this easy recipe at home! 6 squares of Jaguar Drinking Chocolate 1-2 tsp sweetener of choice 1.5 tsp pumpkin spice mix (cinnamon, clove, ground ginger, allspice, and nutmeg. Optional cardamom.)... In a blender, add your chocolate, sweetener, and spices with 10oz of boiling water. Blend until emulsified and frothy, and enjoy!

It's #nationalcoffeeday, so how could we not highlight this beautiful picture of our coffee taken by @lesleypike? Looking for organic, shade-grown, ethical and sustainable coffee beans? We've been sourcing our coffee directly from Indigenous communities in Oaxaca for over 10 years.
