The scariest thing I ever did was got on the roller coaster on top of the New York New York building in Las Vegas. Thought I was going to die. I don’t like snakes... Bought my first salon at 21 years old and had 5 employees. An amazing experience of being in the right place at the right time was being surrounded by 25 Orcas all breeching and playing for about 1 hours. Will never forget it. I want to go to Africa and do a safari I never get tired of eating cheese. My favourite hobby is photography. I also make time to go hiking every week The loves of my life are my 3 amazing kids and 5 gandchildren plus 3 by default. Ok my hubby too! See more

We have the green light! We are so excited to see you all soon! Our official opening day is Thursday May 21st with reduced capacity. You can expect us to be calling you ASAP. Please allow us to call clients that had appointments cancelled first before we open our online booking system. We wish everything could be business as usual, but we all know this is not the case. We will be working our hardest to ensure every guest has an enjoyable experience upon their return to Chopst...ix. A big favour that we ask of you is to keep the topic of COVID to a minimum. We understand that it has been at the center of everyone’s lives for the past two months, but please understand that this is a negative and draining conversation for us as stylists who see multiple guests in a day. We would love to hear stories of how you filled your cup during this time! Tell us about the new hikes you discovered, how your garden has grown, and all things that are positive and uplifting! This will help to ensure everyone’s salon experience is a great one. But first we must set down the guidelines, set out to us by our governing health officials. For your safety and ours please take extra cautions. Thank you for your understanding. Remember, we are all facing this crisis together, so we want to be transparent about it, to keep everyone safe and healthy. . Please call and cancel if you are suffering from a fever, cough or having difficulty breathing, or have been diagnosed with COVID-19 virus. Employees who show flu-like symptoms will be required to stay home till they are symptom free. . Masks are required when having services. . Respect self isolation rules if you have recently returned from any travel outside of Canada. . Please do not arrive to your appointment time sooner than 5 minutes before, to avoid reception waiting time. Clients must attend appointments alone and not bring along friends, children and other family members. . Chopstix will ensure that stations and tools are thoroughly disinfected for each client. . Stylist will be wearing PPE (personal protective equipment) guided by public health . Appointments will be staggered to ensure a minimum amount of people in salon at one time. . Shield barriers will be provided at reservation desk, nail table, pedicure stations and shampoo sinks. . High touch areas are routinely disinfected. . Maintain a distance of 6 feet (2 meters) between you and other people. . Wash your hands often for at least 20 seconds. Please use hand sanitizer upon entering our salon.
