https://fb.me/e/3PJjn6iP7 The Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDoR) has been observed annually on November 20 as a day to memorialize those who have lost their... lives as a result of transphobia. It is a day to draw attention to the continued violence endured by transgender people. ____________________________________________ In Peterborough/Nogojiwanong, we will be honouring those lives by holding an virtual Vigil through zoom from 1:00pm-3:00pm followed by an online Open Mic event from 8:00pm-10:00pm to listen to guest speakers and share performances with each other. We are also accepting community contributions such as art, photos, videos, and poetry which will be shared with participants virtually during the events. Links to register and submit contributions are below: Register for Vigil: https://cmhahkpr-ca.zoom.us/.../tJIsc... Register for Open Mic online event: https://trentu.zoom.us/.../tJMscOigqj0uHdBRJd... No hate will be tolerated. Please let us know if you have any questions!
