Have you ever considered buying a home with a suite? CMHC has announced some changes with what they will count for income from it (from 50% to 100%). Below is an article that sheds some light on this. It will be interesting to see how this unfolds and what they deem as an acceptable suite.

This morning I stumbled across a great site and wanted to share it with all of you here in the Shuswap. ShuSWAPit.com I have thought, for a long time, that we needed some form of local classifieds site (similar to Castanet in Kelowna) as the larger sites such as Kijiji or Craigslist don't provide a selection for our area. I'll definitely be supporting them and posting my stuff on there!
