I'm very proud of the work of our task force to minimize the impacts on the surrounding area of our homeless shelter. I truly believe we have some very workable solutions and that every agency will be doing their part. As the Chair, I want to thank all those who were involved in the process, especially Councillors Teri Towner, Terry O'Neill, Glenn Pollock, Laura Dupont and Brad West. We've had a 'perfect storm' of a rental housing, opioid and mental health crisis all at the same time. Thank you very much to all the businesses and residents who have weathered this storm with patience and understanding.
