Hi everyone! A quick reminder that I will out of office for the week of July 27th leading into the August long weekend. I will be back for August 4th. If you need to see me for massage therapy, I still have some availability next week. Additionally I am taking appointments for the beginning of August.... Feel free to use our online booking system as it is open now. Depending on how urgent the timing may be, continue to use the waitlist option if appointment times are not available on the online booking schedule. Also don't hesitate to send me an email if you have questions, or if anything comes up! Chris [email protected]

Hey Everyone, Just letting you know that Online Booking is once again available. It is very important that if you are booking your own appointment that you com...ply with the Ontario Ministry of Health regulations which I will add at the end of this post. Please scroll down to the previous post entitled INSPIRE PATIENTS PLEASE READ if you're unfamiliar with these guidelines. We are still only working 4 days a week for now. Christopher is available Monday to Thursday and I am available Tuesday to Friday. I will still be doing alternating weeks for later appointments. Please make sure that if you booked your own appointment that you look for the intake form which is emailed to you once you've made your booking. You need to complete this form the day of your appointment. In order to comply with the social distancing rule ordered by the Ontario government we no longer have a waiting room and you are asked to either wait in your vehicle or at least six feet from the door until we come to get you for your appointment. Understanding that it is warm out and people are often wearing sandals PLEASE bring a pair of socks with you so that you are not walking barefoot in the clinic. As well, masks are mandatory; if you don't have one or if you forget, you can purchase one for a dollar at the clinic. Thanks for your patience and understanding as we navigate these changes. See you soon! Jonathan If you are scheduling an appointment at Inspire, please read through this screening document before you book your appointment. ***** Also, if you are waiting for COVID 19 test results, or you know you will be tested in the next 2 days, please do not book your appointment until AFTER you have received your results. This is VERY IMPORTANT because if you do happen to screen positive, even though I am wearing PPE during your treatment, I will have to close the office and self isolate for 2 weeks as well.***** The Ontario Ministry of Health has issued a patient screening guidance document where each patient will be asked the following questions prior to any appointment: 1) Are you experiencing any fever, new onset of cough, worsening chronic cough, shortness of breath, or difficulty breathing? 2) Have you had close contact with anyone with acute respiratory illness or travelled outside of Ontario in the past 14 days? 3) Do you have a confirmed case of COVID-19 or had close contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19? 4) Do you have any of the following symptoms: sore throat, runny nose/sneezing, nasal congestion, hoarse voice, difficulty swallowing, decrease or loss of sense of smell, chills, headaches, unexplained fatigue/malaise, diarrhea, abdominal pain, or nausea/vomiting? 5) If over 65 years of age, are you experiencing any of the following: delirium, falls, acute functional decline, or worsening of chronic conditions? If you answer ‘YES’ to any of these questions, you are advised to: - Not attend in person for treatment at our office for at least fourteen (14) days - Complete the Ontario Government’s self-assessment; and - Contact an appropriate authority such your family physician, local medical officer of health, or Telehealth Ontario

Hope everyone is doing well, and yes we are finally commencing a gradual re-opening at Inspire! A couple reminders in regards to when you book your next massage therapy appointment: Currently we are accepting patients on a priority basis, if you require a massage therapy appointment, place yourself on the online wait-list. Before you place yourself on the wait-list/time of booking, be sure to take a look at the COVID-19 symptom reference document from the Ministry of Health.... If you are experiencing symptoms, or have potentially come into contact with anyone believed to have COVID-19, or traveled outside of Ontario, I will not be able to book you in and/or provide massage therapy treatment. **Also if your are being tested for COVID-19, it is important that your appointment is scheduled after you receive the results of your test.** http://www.health.gov.on.ca//2019_reference_doc_symptoms.p When you are booked for your next massage therapy appointment, you should receive an additional intake email to the confirmation notification. This is a screening questionnaire and is used to screen symptoms and potential risk of coming in contact with COVID-19. **This screen is to be completed when you arrive, or no earlier than 30 minutes prior to your appointment time. It takes approximately 30 seconds -1 minute to complete. Completion of this screening tool is required in order to access the clinic space. ** The front door will be locked at all times. We ask that you wait in your vehicle or remain atleast six feet away from the front door, until I receive your results of the COVID-19 screening tool. As soon as I receive the results, I will let you in to the clinic. Please do not bring anyone with you to your appointment, as there is no waiting room. Be sure to wash your hands as soon as you enter the clinic space. Also bring a mask with you, it is required that all patients and practitioners wear a mask throughout the treatment and the entire time you are in the clinic. The last update is in regards to my Registered Massage Therapy rates. These rates have been adjusted to exclude HST from my pricing and are currently effective. Additionally I will not be accepting cash during the re-opening phase, I will still continue to offer direct billing services, debit/credit during this time. 60 minutes - $75 + HST 45 minutes - $60 + HST 30 minutes - $45 + HST Thank you for taking the time to familiarize yourself with these new changes! Our regulatory bodies, The College of Chiropractors of Ontario (CCO),and the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) have outlined a framework for the g...radual reopening of chiropractic amd massage therapy offices with public health and safety being the number one concern at all times. Following these guidelines, Inspire Chiropractic will be proceeding with a gradual reopening on June 15th. Please understand that we have not been given permission to be fully open but to institute a slow return. This means that we will not be open all day or permitted to see the usual number of patients. At this time the chiropractic office will not be accepting new patients until I am able to clear up the back log of current patients. I am sorry for the inconvenience. In order to maximize safety and help curb community transmission of COVID-19, new procedures and protocols will be in place once regular patient care resumes. While things may seem slightly different at times we hope that your overall experience with us will remain the same. To make sure everyone is aware of the new guidelines mandated by the CCO, CMTO and the local public health unit, the following changes and guidelines for return to practice are outlined below. We ask for your patience, compliance, and understanding as we navigate this new normal together. Starting June 8th we will be taking requests for treatment for when the office reopens June 15th. The most efficient process for this will be, if you are familiar with the online booking system, to put your name on the waiting list of the online schedule and we will schedule you in as we are able. Alternatively, if you are unable to access the online system, you can leave a phone message at the office 519-425-0202. Please include what days and time you are available as well as how dire your need for treatment is. As we have limited time and availability, we would ask that you triage yourself for us so that we know who can wait a little longer and whose case is more emergent. If your need is just for a tune-up we would ask that you wait a little longer so that we can see to the patients who are having pain or experiencing disability. We appreciate your help in this regard. Again, please understand this is not a full reopening. We have been instructed to initiate a gradual return. At this point we have not been told how long we will have a reduced schedule. We will do our best to see as many patients as we are allowed. 1. Masks are mandatory for all patients and practitioners. This is not negotiable. We understand that it is uncomfortable and bothersome but in the interest of keeping both yourself and us and our families safe, we respectfully request that you do. If you do not have a mask or forget to bring it, you will be able to purchase one at the clinic. 2. If you are feeling at all unwell, or if you think that you may have been exposed to someone with COVID19, please cancel your appointment and wait at least 14 days before rescheduling. You should also complete the Ontario Government’s self-assessment and contact an appropriate authority such your family physician, local medical officer of health, or Telehealth Ontario. 3. When you schedule an appointment, you will be sent an email with a link to a pre-treatment screening questionnaire. It only takes about 30 seconds to complete and can be filled out on your computer or smart phone. If you do not have access to a computer or phone you will be required to fill out a paper copy at the clinic prior to treatment but it is our wish that it be done online as much as possible to keep everything organized and running efficiently. You should wait to complete the assessment until the day of your appointment. 4. Upon reaching the clinic please either wait in your vehicle or wait at least 6 feet away from the front door. We will come to the door to get you when it is time for your appointment. 5. Please do not bring anyone with you to your appointment. There is no longer a designated waiting area in the clinic. As we have limited space inside, it will be difficult to maintain social distancing inside the clinic if there are other people with you. 6. As you enter the clinic please immediately use the hand sanitizer on the front desk or wash your hands in the restroom. Please use sanitizer again prior to leaving. 7. Understanding that its summer, if you are wearing sandals, please bring socks with you so that you will not be walking around the clinic in your bare feet. For your safety and ours, cleaning and disinfection protocols from Public Health Ontario will be strictly followed. Enhanced cleaning procedures have been implemented in order to help protect the health and safety of everyone. This includes: 1)Cleaning and disinfecting clinical contact surfaces such as chiropractic adjusting tables, diagnostic/therapeutic tools and devices, and diagnostic/therapeutic surfaces including rehabilitation equipment after each patient encounter. 2) Any materials or clinical contact surfaces that cannot be properly disinfected shall not be used. 3) Patient contact items such as payment machines, reception counters, seating areas, door handles and handrails will be cleaned and disinfected after each patient encounter. While the new protocols and procedures listed above are not exhaustive, they provide a strong framework for returning to practice while prioritizing the safety of all patients and staff. As the COVID-19 situation is fluid and evolving, advice from Public Health officials may change which, ultimately, may impact clinic operations during such periods. As regulated health professionals, chiropractors and registered massage therapists are required to follow the directives and guidance from the Ministry of Health, Public Health Ontario, the Chief Medical Officer of Health, and other authoritative bodies regarding practices during the pandemic. Oxford County has been fortunate in that we have not seen the levels of infection elsewhere in the province. Part of that is due to the diligence and compliance of all of us over the past weeks. Please understand that we need to continue this commendable behaviour. It may be frustrating trying to get your appointment time as soon as you would like but Inspire will continue to follow the given guidelines as we move forward. Thanks for understanding and we look forward to seeing you soon. Jonathan and Christopher

As I am sure many of you are aware, Chiropractors and Registered Massage Therapists have been given permission to begin a "gradual reopening" of non-emergency s...ervices. Please be aware that this is in no way a full return to being open. Things are going to proceed much differently than before and still at a very scaled down version of what we were doing before lock-down. We are planning on accepting patients again starting the week of June 15th. Unfortunately I will not be accepting any new patients at this time until I am able to clear the back log of current patients who are in need of treatment. Online booking will NOT be available for the near future. There is much to do to prepare for this so I would appreciate your patience over the next 2 weeks and not start calling for appointments until we announce that we are ready. I will be posting more information by early next week as far as what our expectations are and what we will be requiring of you based on the directions given to us by the provincial government as well as our regulatory body, I know its been a long time since many of you have been able to receive treatment and I appreciate your patience during this difficult time. There is a significant amount of work to be done before we can reopen. I would ask that you hang in there for a couple more weeks and allow Christopher and I to plan and prepare so that things can move forward with few difficulties as we enter this next phase. Thanks for your understanding. Jonathan and Christopher
