Silver Harbor Conservation area and Mary's island Feb 27 2021.

A little interaction I witnessed out on the ice of the Thunder Bay harbor. The coyote with a bad case of mange was along way away near shore from the healthy one sleeping on the ice, the one with mange started trotting towards the one sleeping when this happened. I think the one with mange is female. The jokes I could write on the post are endless. Feel Free to Share

Yesterday just after 6 I spotted this Beauty. As it was walking on the ice I whistled it looked at me and then turned and started to run at me. It was a Little playful leaping at times and a little concerning at the same time. Luckily it stopped and posed for a picture. Chris and Karen where watching as they could not believe I whistled and it turned and ran towards. I was cracking jokes saving I am kind of a Big Deal around these parts. Or what you guys don't get them to do this for you. I was telling another photographer about this encounter and they said they would have freaked out. Definitely had a pucker moment when it turned and ran at me. Thunder Bay Ontario Canada Feb 27 2921.

The Mississagi supposedly this is the last year this ship will be in Service. Built in 1943. 78 years old. Very nice to see. Thunder Bay Ontario Canada. Jan 2 2021.

Today I Photographed a Coyote on the ice in the Distance I could see a Bald Eagle sitting on some drift wood stuck in the break wall of the harbor keeping a eye on the Sleeping Giant. Thunder Bay Ontario Canada. Jan 9 2021. Sharing is Appreciated.

I found some pictures from Jan. 2017 of Coyotes on the ice in Thunder Bay. They were playing running yipping all over the ice before a long howl from shore echoed out over the ice, then they all headed to shore. I guess it was their curfew or playtime was over. These coyotes looked great compared to the one I saw last week. Feel free to Share. Sharing is Appreciated.
