When I design a room, I like it to have a sense of history. This could be anything from a family heirloom to the trophy you won at camp. Even in a modern minimalist interior, there should always be something that has a personal meaning to you, something you acquired on a trip or received from a loved one. I once went to a party at an up & coming bachelor's newly renovated home. There wasn't one personal item in the whole place. On the other hand, I was able to identify just... about every store his designer had gone to. She didn't believe in personal items. All I could think of was, what a loss!" Charlotte Moss in "A Passion for Details" says it best ~ "All the necessary elements of a room should not arrive on installation day. Room should always be left for the things we will acquire...the objects we cannot live without." Each one of these blue and white items in my home has a story.

A line rendering of a bespoke wall unit for a family room. There are restrictions that involve bulkheads that are different depth, a basement entry door, a window and the hallway to the rest of the space. Things to consider are storage, desk area, games storage, LP album storage and a place to hang your coat.

When your engineered wood floor gets damaged by water and flooding, replacing it with a fab porcelain tile that will withstand flooding and heavy foot traffic, is a great idea. Plus the high gloss adds major WOW factor! Yes we consult and help you choose great flooring solutions.
