Thanks be to God, and thank you to everyone who took part in our October 4th 'Blessing and Giving Palooza'! Thank you to all our volunteers who took on the pr...eparation, collection and distribution, with careful pandemic protocols, and to everyone who donated. Thanks to your generosity we raised: $1,445 for Primate's World Relief and Development Fund; $430 for Smiths Falls Community Food Bank (plus food donated); $120 for Lanark Animal Welfare Society (plus donated goods); and $140 plus 6 large bags of winter clothing for 'Undie Sunday' which will be divided between Lunch by George and Hiv/Aids Regional Services. Thank you also to Re-New Creation St. Luke's Thrift Shop for your generous donations on top of these amounts toward ROLL AID Centre Food Bank, Lyndhurst Feral Cat Project and Undie Sunday. See more

Bidding will be open for... one week until 6 PM Saturday October 24th. We have over 50 items! From Anchor-Hawking Bakeware to a Zebra Pattern Purse, and from a tiny Bunnykins figurine to approximately 15 tonnes of crushed limestone. I think it's safe to say we have something for everyone! Funds raised from this online auction will support St. Luke's Leeds ongoing ministry and mission: - nurturing an inclusive, welcoming worship community - building discipleship through education and service - providing ministry through pastoral care, prayer, and service to others including Helping Hands, Assistive Devices Lending, Brown Bag Lunch to Go - encouraging good stewardship of Creation, which includes the volunteer-run Re-New Creation St. Luke's Thrift Shop - sharing the Good News in word and action by supporting individuals and organizations in our communities (for example, schools, food banks, Interval House, feral cat programs, and more!) This All Hallows Eve (Halloween) is going to be a bit less social for our children, so we're preparing treat bags for the youngsters of LAM. Please let Rev. Safe, physically distanced pickup will be on October 31st from 10am-Noon at Athens, Elgin (Thrift Shop) and Newbliss, or at one of our November 1st in-person worship services. See more
