Christian Light Riders

Jesus March 2020 Today several denominational and non-denominational ministries joined together in unity to proclaim Jesus is Lord over Brandon. Believers gathered at the Glory Center with banners and flags to begin a walk and a time of declaration and prayer for our city. There were four stops along the parade route in order to gather in specific locations to strategically pray and proclaim the Word of God. The stops were at the Brandon University, Brandon Police Service, B...randon City Hall, and Love in the City church, with the final location being a gathering at Princess Park. Our Educational System/Facilitators, First Responders/Corrections/Military, Health Care Workers, Government Officials, City Pastors/Ministry Leaders, Business Owners, were some of the people groups honored and prayed for today. Prayer went up for persons struggling with addictions, financial issues, and those incarcerated within our prison system. A few of my co-workers provided the police escort through the busy streets keeping everyone safe. Three motorcycles fell in behind the lead police cruiser followed by banner carriers, singers/marchers, and vehicle floats. Even CLR had the opportunity to minister alongside another biker ministry, namely the Chariots of Light represented by Murray. CLR President Hubert was in the middle and yours truly on the inside. We were blessed to be joined on foot by our dear CLR sister Helen Rankin. The Lord provided opportunities to pray for people not involved in the March, and two street people gave their hearts to Jesus. After a long season usually filled with ministry events for CLR, we finally had the opportunity to come together and serve and pray. I was blessed to wear two hats today as police chaplain and as a member of CMA. Blessings; Bruce VP CLR Matthew 5:9 "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God"

This is the day the Lord has made - blessed to spend it riding through Riding Mountain National Park with my friend/brother in Christ/CLR President Hubert AKA Huggy-Bear. The Lord's tapestry with the changing of the season was beautiful. A bonus was meeting up with our Bro Scott Allen in Dauphin. Sad that Scott has stepped away from ministry with CMA after being one of the founding members of CLR, but I understand we go through seasons ... and he is still our cherished Bro. Blessings on your next venture Scott. Just gives us a reason to ride through the Park more often to see you.

Adult & Teen Challenge - Ride For Eternity July 25 Thank you Scott Allen for attending this event and representing the Christian Light Riders - all the way from Dauphin! Scott reported that around 50 bikes participated in this annual fundraising event. During a retreat from a rain storm, Scott ducked into a Timmies for refuge where he embraced the opportunity to pray with a lady - thank you Lord for obedience, open doors, and divine appointments, I rejoice that fear of Covid did not grip the hearts of the organizers and the Ride For Eternity event proceeded as usual. Our Lord Jesus is bigger than the virus Blessings to Steve and Daniel and all the TC staff and volunteers. May we continue to rejoice in the testimonies of God's power and grace releasing freedom and identity in Christ through His ministry of TC.

June Chapter Meeting - Social Distancing After a 2 month hiatus from meeting as a Chapter, Hank & Grace provided a wonderful atmosphere in their back yard where we could adhere to the social distancing requirements yet still conduct business. It made for a very enjoyable and relaxed meeting that for some of us went on until 10 PM enjoying the fire and each other's company. With organized ministry coming to a halt, we will begin to focus on group rides - see "Upcoming Events". We are scheduling a ride to Dauphin through Riding Mountain National Park this Saturday leaving Brandon Petro Canada at 1300 hours and meeting up with our Bro and Sis Scott and Alice in Dauphin at Coffee Creations.
