CLF to appear before the Supreme Court today: The Supreme Court of Canada has granted CLF leave to intervene in Aga v Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church of Canada. This case raises important questions about the rights of churches and other voluntary religious associations to determine their own membership and processes. CLF has been permitted to serve and file written submissions and present oral argument.
