A wedding cake for Akiko & Guy, inspired by celebratory colours in Japanese culture, and featuring handmade sugar magnolias. The bride's choice was chocolate cake with chocolate ganache and chocolate Swiss meringue buttercream and the groom's choice was vanilla cake with brown sugar bourbon Swiss meringue buttercream. So happy for this very special couple!

Merry Christmas! I hope that your holiday is happy and bright. It is my tradition every year to make a Christmas cake for my family. I made a peony, dusty miller and white berries from sugar and arranged them against a classic Christmas red cake. Inside is sticky toffee pudding cake with bourbon caramel Swiss meringue buttercream.
