This locally crafted, solid wood massage table is over 3 ft wide and 6 ft long with a 3" memory foam that is topped with a full length infrared heating pad. **FAQs** Q- Are you registered? A- Sorry, no. However, as I do not have an association to answer to, I am able to keep my rates affordable. ... Q - How much do you charge? A - $40 / 30 minutes, $70 / 60 minutes, $95 / 90 minutes, and $120 / 2 hours. Q - Do you accept debit, credit, or E transfers? A - E-transfers, yes, but as for debit and credit, sorry, not at this time. However, I am expecting to before June of this year. Q - What hours do you work? A - I received my diploma in Holistic Health and Integrated Massage at the Windsong School of Healing Arts in Port Alberni. Q - How long have you been doing massage? A - I graduated in July, 2013 and had my 1st client in my office on March 11th, 2014. Q-What style of massage do you do? A - I am trained as both a Shiatsu and an Acupressure Practitioner. Shiatsu is a Japanese word meaning "finger pressure" and is defined as "neuromuscular point work therapy". This means, I apply pressure to various points throughout the body using my thumbs, hands, and, sometimes, elbows. Acupressure is a way of working with the body's internal energies by employing a network of merdians (energetic pathways). I am also trained in Swedish and Relaxation Massage. Q - Do you work on pregnant women? A - Yes. I recommend that an expecting mother consults her doctor before recieving massage. I am trained to avoid points and areas that can be unsafe and am able to work with the client in a side lying position. Q - Do you work on children? A - Yes. For children 12 and under, I require a guardian stays present and the child receives only a 30 minute massage ($25/ Student Massage). Children under 16 must remain clothed.

**Things I Want You To Know** 1. I am visually impaired. When I was 10 years old, I was diagnosed with a genetic, degenerative disease called Stargardts ( Juvenile Macular Degeneration). Stargardts has left me with no central vision, poor depth perception, lazy eyes, and colour blindness. To put this into perspective, my vision is 2400/ 20- this means that what a person with 20/20 vision can see from 2400 ft. away, I need to be 20 ft. away to see the same. This does not e...ffect my work on the massage table, but it does make it hard for me to make eye contact and recognize faces. 2. I graduated from the Windsong School of Healing Arts with a 98% average and exceeded the hours required in my practicum. 3. I carry a valid business license in the community of Port Alberni as well as valid business insurances with the NHPC (Natural Health Practitioners of Canada). 4. I have a heating pad on my massage table (October -April). 5. The linens are changed on my massage table after every client. 6. My style of massage is based on individual pressure tolerance, and the client should never feel any pain. However, I am strong and can apply deep pressure. 7. For the duration of your service, I work for you. If you want the full service on your upper back, the full service will be on your upper back. If you want 30 minutes on your feet, I will spend 30 minutes on your feet. Some clients want work on their hands, stomach, or face and head. 8.
