I finished my last floral last night for #28februaryflowers2021 This was another one done using veggies to make the flowers. Don’t worry I won’t make you guess. Sometimes when I name a painting I like to play with words. Have you noticed? Here’s what I mean. This one is called A Plume of a Bloom in a Too Small Pot. ... When I finished this painting it reminded me of a hat adorned with a mass of feathers and flowers that ladies wore back in the day. I love the messy looseness of these flowers and again using the pink and plum creates a great backdrop for the leaves and white flowers. And this has so much texture. Zoom in to see. Life has gotten so busy. A full-time job. Art business on the side. Some amazing online classes. Self care. It all takes time. I don’t have cable TV.
