How about deliciously warm and healing ginger, turmeric latte this winter? Turmeric and Ginger are two powerhouse spices that have powerful anti-inflammatory effects and is a very strong antioxidant. Cinnamon helps to lower blood pressure. Maple Syrup offers calcium, magnesium, and potassium to your diet.... AND it takes SO GOOD!! 350ml almond milk (or any milk of your choice) tsp ground turmeric tsp ground cinnamon tsp ground ginger tsp vanilla extract 1 tsp maple syrup grind of black pepper

Kids are my life. So blessed to have been born into a HUGE family, learned from very young, just how important family is to me and all the members. Today we are gathering with many of them to have an early celebration for my dad's 97th birthday! No matter how big or small your family is, treasure these moments for birthday or anniversary or summer picnics/bbq's, whichever brings you together.... Cheers to families today! And our family started with my amazing Mom (missing you every day) and Dad. I am feeling loved and blessed to have my own family too.

Do you remember a bedtime routine when you were little? Did you have a bath first? Then have a story read to you, followed by a cuddle? Bedtime routines are so important for an infant, believe it or not, they rely on repetition. So here's an ideal go-to: Make sure your baby's room has proper darkening blinds/curtains for nap/bedtime 1. Set up the bath area. During bath keep activity level low, as we want the warm water to relax them 2. Wrap baby in a towel and diaper and kee...p a low light on while you do bedtime routine in the nursery 3. Feed baby, skin-on-skin (breastfeed or bottle) 4. Keep voices low, background nursery music good (white noise machine has options for music) 5. Change baby and massage with coconut oil - they love this! 6. Dress baby in clean sleeper and put in sleepsack 7. Hug and hold baby, using a sleep phrase, such as "I love you (say baby's name), have a good sleep, see you in the morning" 8. Lay baby in crib on their back, no other items in crib 9. Change music to white noise 10. Leave the room, as long as you have a monitor on the baby in the crib See more
