Made a last minute decision this morning to go down to the falls to try and grab a sunrise! There was some beautiful colour starting out but it didn't last long, it fizzled out before it could spread through the bottoms of the clouds like I hoped it would. The mist was a little thick because it really wasn't that cold, when that happens it tends to appear almost hazy but the mist shifts all over. That's why I like it when it's really cold because it stays compact and the falls are much more clearer. Will definitely have to try again, hopefully it gets colder! 2019 #niagarafalls I decided to put these all in an album, they're images of the falls since the temperatures dropped over the last few days. We've had a couple of really good frigid winter nights/days, feels good on the lungs when you have a cold, on the fingers not so much! Winter by far is my favourite time to shoot Niagara, the ice formations around the falls are absolutely stunning, not to mention the way the light reflects off the ice and snow, literally gives me goosebumps thinking about it!
