How is everyone doing? These are trying times and I hope you are all doing awesome and finding the best, even if just a moment, in each day. The government is continually announcing updates and/or changes, especially in regards to finances. One item is the extension of the tax filing deadline until June 1. I strongly recommend to still file your taxes by April 30th ... WHY? 1. It's something to do while isolated =)... 2. If it's a refund, it's money in your bank! 3. If you receive Child Benefits or Ontario Trillium Benefit, you won't be late or delayed in receiving them come July (the next 12 payments are calculated to begin July based on your 2019 filing) If you need help, I am happy to assist and taking on new clients.

Part of the COVID response plan Increasing the Canada Child Benefit We are providing an extra $300 per child through the Canada Child Benefit (CCB) for 2019-20. This will mean approximately $550 more for the average family.... This benefit will be delivered as part of the scheduled CCB payment in May. Those who already receive the Canada Child Benefit do not need to re-apply.
