Hi friends!!! I’m still here! (I will never stop using that emoji or wearing my hair in a side part or be throwing out my skinny jeans so don’t even try make me!) But that’s not why I’m hopping on here today! I took this photo in 2015. Still love sharing it every year because it’s just a full mood don’t you think? I hope you’re being showered with all the love you deserve today friends. I hope you get a chance to play in the snow and stand in the sunshine and smile at a stranger and smooch someone you love and say thank you for this one magical messy life! I also hope you speak to yourself with love today as you look back at where you’ve been and where you’re going. The dots don’t always make sense but they’ll all eventually join up and if we’re not careful, we miss the joy that is right here waiting for us in the ordinary. So sign off and go snuggle! I’ve been a little quiet over here while having a whole lot of fun over at @paperplanesandpeaches creating The Woven Co. and our online launch event happening this month!!! Pretty much my face since Jan 1st! Happy 1st birthday to my cute little buddy Carter and a HUGE congratulations to mamma @cynthasizer79 on one much tougher than it should ever be first year. Thank you for sharing Carter’s joy with us this past year. What a bright shining light he is! Xxx

Here’s to you: (swipe for sweetness!) To the ones that danced despite the chaos and brought light to the dark this year. To the ones that held others (and yourselves) up even when it was hard! To the ones that learnt what truly matters and are closing the year giving thanks for all we have despite all we lost. To the ones that are walking away from 2020 with arms WIDE OPEN for whatever is to come in 2021!... May it be FULL of the world’s biggest and best hugs, bountiful blessings and BIG adventures! One month until Christmas Eve! Anyone else need a brown bag to breathe into? Kidding. I’m actually kinda calm about it all. Can’t believe it, but calm. And over here climbing an edit mountain so I can get galleries delivered this week and hopefully (safely) squeeze in our last indoor sessions next weekend (Dec 5th&6th with potentially a few spaces open still!) I’m trying to do most of our Christmas shopping small and local and by scrolling through my feeds to find what my faves have on offer. I’m trying to stay positive and trust that everything will be ok (and for me I know it will be) but my heart hurts man! It hurts for people like @stephaniestreetco and @burlingtonmade who can’t put on their Christmas market and welcome crowds of happy shoppers. It hurts for the small businesses sitting stressed ahead of a season of unknown. It... hurts for how many people are facing the holidays alone or far from family (I know how much that last bit sucks!) And it hurts for the hospital staff (and ALL the support teams) that are STILL dealing with the darkest parts of this pandemic. So just a Sunday shoutout, (while I’m sitting working things out from the safe, warm comfort of my home) to anyone with a heart feeling extra heavy or hurt today. Not my photo but MY HEART do the @monatofficial product shots inspire me endlessly!!! Don’t even get me started on their branding and packaging! It got 1000x better today with the launch of our travel MINI size skincare lines So if you need me I’ll be over here swimming in edits and sending multiple sample carts for the next few weeks! What a year!! Wild to think I had NO idea what I was saying yes to when I started my second business with Monat this time last year. Forever grateful for a second income stream through this SERIOUSLY crazy year, for being brave enough to sit back and reevaluate how I could best show up for my clients while first serving myself and my family (and my sweet boy who now has some extra needs that require a lot of my time and attention) I’m proud to say that within a year I wor...ked my way up to the top 3% and it’s only the beginning...all because I opened my mind, got out my own damn way and didn’t take any of my excuses about not having time/knowing what I was doing/worrying about what anyone else would think as a way to quit. Friends, in case you needed a reminder: we can do hard things...and sometimes they turn out to not even be hard at all! Took my photographer’s Sunday today because (maybe I’m getting old) but mamma is TIRED after a full day of mini sessions yesterday! So tonight I’m not at my desk, I’m tucked in my bed starting Christmas shopping because EXCUSE me but how fast are these weeks going? 64 days until Christmas! Anyone else feel like this year has been a decade rolled into one and at the same time flown by at warp speed? Madness if you ask me.
