Christmas Eve in the Village

The original vision for Christmas Eve in the Village is on hold, but something we’ve been working on the past two years is reorienting our liturgies to the lifecycle of Christ. In keeping with this, we’re holding a half hour Christmas Eve Liturgy, on December 24th, at the Inlet Theatre. It will be participatory, liturgical, and creative. Many from our church family will be involved. There will be an activity in the galleria (part way through) for parents and children to take ...part in a way that adds to our liturgy. For those who celebrate, there is no day on the calendar like Christmas Eve. There is a stillness and quiet because everything has been prepared. Liturgy awakens our heart, that God has also been preparing. That which is most vital to us, peace, love, joy, rest, are not within our ability to create. These are the preparations God brings to life. May this liturgy facilitate this vitality in our lives.
