Due to the Covid19 virus, Christmas in Chemainus will delay reopening until MID April. During these uncertain times, we have chosen to be cautious for the protection of our staff, our customers and our community. Hansel & Gretel's Candy Co. Ltd. will be closing for two weeks beginning this Saturday March 14, 2020 due to the Covid19 Virus. As the Witch lives local and has a very Fast Broom, she is happy to assist with Candy Emergencies! Baby Bear has been FOUND! MANY many thanks to all that Shared the postings as well as the outrage during this terrible ordeal. While Baby Bear will once again stand in the Secret Garden, he did not come through this unscathed. Currently we are looking at options to fix his much broken legs. While there was an apology note found with Baby Bear, the vandal has yet to be held accountable for this crime as well as the gas theft and evacuation at Sand Piper and area. But agai...n, MANY THANKS to all. Chemainus and Vancouver Island is an absolutely WONDERFUL community and hopefully we can get a handle on the crime. Special thanks to the Chemainus Hospital for doing their best to make Baby Bear comfortable. He really likes the honey drip
