A few weeks ago I got a call from a man whose parents are moving away from their incredible acres of gardens into something more easily cared for. He was wondering if their feeling for their place could be captured on canvas. It was an absolutely beautiful and soulful spot, and I hope this painting will help them to remember what they created. Hi everyone! It's been so long since I posted. I focused for a year on a new role I took on at work, which turned out to be amazing since I got to use my engineering experience to work on Canada's Covid response effort. The team has been incredible. But...art has been calling! This week I juried Halton Hills' "the Artist Next Door" call for proposals and we have exciting things to share with you once the artists are notified! I also started work on a plein air commission ...and send huge thanks and love to the person who chose to share their life and gardens with me. Hi folks! Things have been crazy here since back in April, when I found an engineering job that is creative enough to keep my art brain happy, and went back to the corporate world full time. I did finally manage to sneak in some painting this weekend. This is a new version of my painting "Witness", commissioned by a lovely lady. I can't wait to varnish, frame and deliver!

We've been gobsmacked by #monttremblant. Three hours #hiking with my girls was magical!
