We Wish You a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, from Chrysalis Family to Yours!
Running many activities at the Calgary remote locations and exercising in a fun way. The individuals and staff also made the Christmas ornaments to decorate the site.
What a special Calgary Annual Achievement Awards for a special year! Although our individuals had to celebrate it at three different locations or at their home, we all enjoyed every moment and cheered for each other. Congratulations to 4 special awards winners: Brandi, James, Joseph and Heewon. We also want to congratulate Dancing Heals for receiving the Community Partnership Award. It is only in the challenging time that we may discover the true strength of the brilliant light within ourselves that can never, ever, be dimmed. Good job Chrysalis team!
Today we had a contest to decorate the doors/windows at the Calgary office. Everyone was very creative, but who's the winner? #creativity
Learning how to make apple nachos during the Healthy Snacks program.
Amy from our Calgary service had a great visit from Kealy, CDSP today. They worked on identifying singluar/plural forms of speech ASL, Time, writing and Zumba.
We are very happy to announce that one of Calgary artists, Steven's painting, Community Hockey Rink, will be printed as this year's Christmas card for Canada Sports Hall of Fame. Good job Steven, so proud of you!
Thank you to those who sacrificed for our freedom. We remember. #lestweforget2020
Many poppy art and craft projects done this week in the Calgary office, to pay our tribute to the men and women who have served, and continue to serve our country during times of war, conflict and peace.
We would like to congratulate Heewon from the Calgary Art studio who successfully hosted an art class, supported by his staff Gwen, CDSP. They showed their peers how to use tissue paper and acrylic paint to create a polar bear painting. His peers enjoyed the class either from the office, remote location or home.
It is important to remember! The artists in Calgary Art Studio engaged in the conversations regarding peace and sacrifice, while drawing what Peace means to them.
