During a chat with a friend this morning, I realized that I have been on this Life-Cycle Celebrant path for ten years! I started my training in 2011. My goodness, hard to believe how much time has gone by. And to this day I am still so very happy that I found this path, and that I get to celebrate Love Stories, Baby stories, and Life Stories by creating meaningful and memorable ceremonies for them. I have been honoured to create over 100 ceremonies so far, and I look forward to creating and celebrating many more. Yes, Covid had slowed things down but....love always wins. Canada was way ahead of other countries in recognizing that same sex unions were every bit as important, and real, and loving as hetero unions. Thus, twenty years ago, same sex marriage was legalized. In truth, love is love! Just a reminder to couples who are planning to marry in 2021. As of right now, weddings are still restricted to 10 people, including your officiant.
