To better accommodate everyone at the AGM this Sunday, we are going to have one service only at 10AM. It will immediately be followed by the AGM at 11 AM (or shortly after) which will take place right in the church to allow for social distancing. Since we cannot do our traditional Potluck Lunch due to the pandemic, we will prepare bagged lunches in our commercial grade kitchen following all health protocols. These bagged lunches will be available for everyone at the AGM to take home following the meeting. We hope for a good turnout at the service and the meeting but can only accommodate 50 per the current protocols so encourage folks to pre-register for both.

Dear Parishioners, May we run our race with perseverance! Like many of you the toll of the restrictions during this Covid pandemic is wearing on me. I have to remind myself that things will not be this way forever. During times of testing it is important to remember to take time out and spend time in prayer with God. Don't let the pandemic keep you from growing in your relationship with God. In today's Gospel passage Jesus withdraws from the crowds to spend time with God. If ...Jesus needed to do that and He was fully God and fully human then even more so for us. Here is the link to today's service. I pray that it blesses you. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZqUL2Cx31V4 Bible Study will take place on Tuesday at 7pm. We are going to finish up the Book of Deuteronomy by reviewing Chapters 29-34. Learn The Bible In 24 Hours! During Lent and into spring we are starting a new series that will continue into the fall. Have you ever wanted to learn the basic story of the Bible? Do you want to know more about the Bible but don't know where to start? I have ordered a study by renown Bible Teacher Chuck Missler. There are 24 videos in all. We will cover 12 sessions on the Old Testament this spring and then 12 sessions in the fall on the New Testament. If you want to make 2021 the Year that you grow in Bible knowledge then this series is it! The 12 sessions in the spring will start on Feb. 23rd and run till May 4th. We will start at 7pm and go until 8:30pm. We will also be offering this online at the same time through Zoom if you are not able to come to the church. Here is a link to the book (you won't need to order anything) and you can see the 5 star rating on Amazon with 871 ratings. https://www.amazon.ca/Learn-Bible-Hours-Chuck-//1418549185 Annual General Meeting Feb. 14th IMPORTANT: For next Sunday only we will have ONE service at 10:00am and then we will hold the AGM directly after the service. It is time again for the L.I.F.T.'s traditional Bakeless Bake Sale! L.I.F.T. stands for "Ladies in Fellowship Together" and our mission looks to promote, strengthen and grow relationships among women, thru community involvement and spiritual giving within the church and the community. The proceeds will once again go to Safe Harbour (Youth Unbound), a Transitional Youth Services Homeless Facility. Thank you to Janet, who has done up the envelopes for us. We put some in the... Narthex and some on the window ledge at the front of the church for folks on their way out. Let's see how close we can get to $1,000 to support this valuable ministry! CHRISTMAS BASKETS: Each year we provide groceries for 30 families which includes everything required for a full turkey dinner plus additional groceries to help relieve the strain over the holidays. We also provide gifts for the children. There will be a tree in our narthex with a tag for each child on our list showing their name, gender, age, size and sometimes a gift suggestion. There are also tags on the tree for non-perishable grocery items. We purchase the perishables - turkeys, milk, margarine, bread, rolls, potatoes, carrots, onions and apples - so we welcome cash donations. Thank you to all who contribute to this valuable ministry each year! God Bless!
