Wind warning issued at 3:29 pm Strong winds that may cause damage are expected or occurring. Strong northwesterly winds gusting to 90 km/h are expected to develop overnight in areas of Western Saskatchewan and move East throughout the night. These strong wind gusts will arrive in Southwestern Manitoba by Wednesday morning. Winds are expected to taper off from the Northwest by Wednesday afternoon and should diminish by Wednesday overnight

January 17/21 Firefighters were dispatched to a vehicle fire in the 200 Block of Park Ave. at 19:59. When crews arrived, they found a vehicle in the driveway that had self extinguished. Firefighters searched the vehicle for any extension and cooled any hotspots. The fire was contained to the vehicle. Returned to service at 20:45

Another tow operator stuck while doing their job on Saskatchewan highways. Slow down to 60 km/h and move over when passing tow operators, emergency vehicles and snow plows. Give them room to work. We all want to go home at the end of the day! #slowdownandmoveover

This year on Saturday December 19th starting at 4pm the Churchbridge Lions along with the Churchbridge Fire Department are bringing Santa to town. Santa for on...e night is trading in his reindeer for a fire truck. We will be having a parade starting at Churchbridge Coop going east down Vincent. (Map included). We encourage everyone to come out and to wave and say hi to Santa. Remember that all social distancing rules should apply. It is recommended that viewers stay in proximity of their car to view Santa as he waves going by. See more

Thursday night's training covered haul systems and rappelling.

Severe weather is on the way this weekend which means snow plows will be busy across the province. Remember to slow to 60 km/h when passing stopped plows with their blue lights flashing and only pass a plow when it is safe to do so. Check the Saskatchewan Highway Hotline before travelling and make sure to give yourself more travel time.
