Diocesan Christmas Eve service with Bishop Susan Bell

Church of the Epiphany had another very successful food and essentials drive for Kerr Street Mission! We collected $1160 in cash and gift cards, filled Jodi's truck with food and Linda’s car with hats, socks and mitts. Some second hand items were also donated, and Pam S. kindly took them to Good Will. Linda and Jodi donated everything to KSM on Monday. Thank you to all the volunteers: Linda S., Pam S., Zac, Noah and Jodi C.

While we may not be able to gather together in-person, we are delighted to have the opportunity to spend an evening together online with Archbishop Linda Nichol...ls, Primate of the Anglican Church of Canada. We hope you will join us on November 30 as we celebrate our diocesan family and welcome our distinguished guest! Members of the Bishop's Company will be invited to ask the Primate anything from the work to renew the mission of the Anglican Church of Canada to her favourite canoeing spot. There will also be music to enjoy and, of course, a toast to the Queen and the Church! Click the link below to become a member or renew your membership with the Bishop's Company and be part of this evening of laughter, friendship, and community building.

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God." ~ Philippians 4:6 The word...s above are what we aspire to as Christians. Never more so than on this weekend which is a time set aside to give thanks to God for all our blessings. To give thanks like this, intentionally, gratefully, is to open our eyes to the truth that everything is a gift from God. I am so grateful for all the many ways in which you and our churches continue to be the face and hands Christ by caring for our neighbours, radiating hope, and proclaiming our faith. These are not easy times, but it is in times like these where love of Jesus enfolds and sustains us, and as the passage from Philippians reminds us, grants us a peace which transcends all understanding. May that peace be yours this day and always, and may you have a safe, and a heartfelt Thanks-giving this weekend. Read my full Thanksgiving pastoral letter here: https://tinyurl.com/yy3arvbl
