We received a beautiful lighthouse painting created by Mel Gidding as gift from Murray Harbour Baptist Church on our final Sunday as their pastor. Someone knows I Rebecca loves lighthouses! We have truly enjoyed the past seven years of ministry and are looking forward to a new season of life.

Regular observence of the Lord's supper together reminds us that... the promise of redemption stands firm in the various season of life. During this season of pastoral transition let's remember our Saviour is the great shepherd who laid down his life for his sheep. Over the past seven years, it has been a blessing to serve as pastor at MHBC. Let's continue to keep our eyes on Jesus during this time of change. Speaking of times of change, don't forget the time change tomorrow. As was mentioned during my resignation announcement a few weeks ago, the deacons have been arranging for pulpit supply as we begin the pastoral transition together. This Sunday, Jim Ramsay will be sharing a communion message. I would like to thank everyone who has been willing to serve during this season of change. As was the case during the last supper, transition involves, grief, remembrance, and anticipation. My desire during this season of pastoral transition is that we will embrace our Saviour's love. In the various stages of transition, may we journey to the cross in the mediation of our hearts. As we stand at the foot of the cross we will Behold the Lamb of God. Pastor Scott
