JUST IN TIME FOR THE COOLER WEATHER!!! CIEVA is once again selling kindling! However, things have changed a bit. As a safety precaution due to COVID, we no longer have our refill program. Which means we can not fill customers bags at this time. We instead have bags pre-filled that we are selling. Our kindling sales now go as follows: ALL KINDLING PURCHASES ARE TO BE MADE IN CASH PLEASE :) ... Feedbags - $4.60 taxes included (small, fits in your car) USAC BAGS - Large $46 and Small - $25.50 taxes and deposit included (requires loader to place on truck or trailer) NOTE: Deposits on the USAC bags will be returned to the customer when the empty USAC bag is returned to CIEVA. SAVE THE DATE! It's time to get rid of your hazardous waste, here is the dates, places and times.

Anyone who makes their own wine and needs bottles, we have a supply of used bottles for sale. They are 25 cents each. Just ask for assistance at our Recycling window. Please follow all the posted rules so that everyone can be safe. Thank you!

UPDATE on the WOOD SHOP We are currently only working on orders for essential services (survey stakes for government / contractors and shipping materials). At this time we are unable to take any custom orders. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your understanding of the current situation. We will soon be able to start selling our big USAC bags of kindling. We will do this by appointment so please let me know if you are interested in purcha...sing one of these large bags. (These are the bags that require to be loaded onto a truck or trailer with our loader. The small feedbags that fit into a car are unavailable at this time) We have lots of wood currently on hand as we have not been able to sell any for the past few months. Please send a message if you would like to arrange a pick up. Thank you for your continued support!

In an effort to keep all of our customers and staff safe here at CIEVA we have made a few changes to how we operate. In RECYCLING we ask that you always wait until the car ahead of you drives away before you pull up by the window. Once at the window please follow these steps: STEP 1: Please place your items on the counter... STEP 2: Ring the Buzzer STEP 3: Please wait in your car. These steps are very important so that we can maintain a safe distance from one another. When we are finished counting your order we will signal for you, letting you know we are done. Then we will set your money on the counter and back away so that you can safely step forward and get your money. We appreciate your business and continued support and hope we can all work together to keep everyone safe!

CIEVA HAS A JOB OPPORTUNITY AVAILABLE! We have an immediate opening for the Recycling Supervisor position here at CIEVA. This supervisory position requires the acceptance of the general orientation and philosophy of CIEVA. The position involves taking responsibility for the daily operations of the recycling centre, including knowledge of the NB Bottle Redemption Act/ paper recycling. Just a reminder that CIEVA RECYCLING IS OPENED back up for all of your recycling needs! We accept your beverage containers, cardboard, newsprint, office paper, old books and magazines and all of your electronic waste items. UPDATE!! As of May 11th we are happy to announce that our recycling department will be opened to serve our loyal customers! We will once again be accepting your bottles, cans, cardboard, office paper and ewaste items. We have new guidelines to follow that will insure the safety of our customers and our staff so please be patient if it takes longer than usual to process your order. Even though our clients are anxious to get back to work, they will remain at home until the pro...vincial rules allow them to safely come back to work too. Thank you for your patience and for your continued support. Our hours will be the same as before the shut down. Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm

Hi everyone. We hope you are all staying safe during this time. I created a private group for any clients of CIEVA as a place that we can chat and keep connected while we are all off work. If you are a client that works in the shop, recycling, kiosk or out in the community you are welcome to join this group. A few staff will join as well so we can see how you guys are doing. We miss you!!!

Effective immediately CIEVA will be CLOSED until further notice as per the guidelines set out by Blaine Higgs. This includes all businesses (recycling, kiosk and woodworking) This is so all of our clients and staff can stay home and stay safe during the coronavirus situation. CIEVAs wood shop is getting ready to clean out some old inventory! This means special one time pricing! We dont usually keep much on hand but what we do have we would like to see go so we can make room for some new items! Stay tuned later this week to see pictures and SALE prices of some of our wood shop items. As always we thank you for your continued support!

Jennifer was over to CIEVA today. We always share a traditional going away hug right before she leaves for her trips. I wished her well, I wished her good luck, reminded her to have lots of fun as she gets ready to go away for her Special Olympics trip to Thunder Bay Ontario. Everyone her at CIEVA is cheering for you!

Our recycling department at CIEVA is just about out of books! If you have any old books, magazines, encyclopedias kicking around that you have no use for we'd love to have them! Our clients take the books apart and then put the paper in the baler to be recycled. This task teaches them attention to detail as they can't keep hardcovers, they have to remove the ends that have glue on them and they can only take them apart one page at a time. This task also teaches them patience. Both important lessons. Please bring any unwanted reading material to the recycling window between 9am - 5pm. Thank you for your support and Happy New Year!
