Anyone that has yet to pick up their LOANER dress/suits, please connect with me to make arrangements for you to pick up - 250-551-0929. The school area that hosts the Closet has had some repairs over the summer months and we can now access the Closet again by appointment only. Thank you once again for all of your support for the 2020 Grads and we look forward to connecting you back with your beautiful dresses/suits.

I don’t know where to start the thank you’s for the out pouring of donations we received on Friday for Cinderella’s closet to help out those grads that lost their dress/suit in the recent fire. We received well over 250 dresses and a few suits. We had people all day showing up with donations and loner attire. ... People driving from all over the east and west Kootenay’s, to help. Thank you to Jasmine from Robson Elementary who drove over all 70 dresses from the Castlegar community! To the ladies that drove from Cranbrook and collected more dresses to donate. Alex from Creston who not only collected dresses from Creston, Fruitvale and area, but she drove over twice on Friday dropping off more donations! Simply overwhelming! Other communities who donated were Christina Lake, Salmo, Rossland, Trail, Kaslo...the list stretches throughout the East and West Kootenays. Some of the notes that people attached to the dress/suits to the grads with advice and well wishes and some moving story’s of what the dress or suit meant to them and their words of wisdom etc. We did receive some loaner dresses and suits and would like to get these back to their owners. We will plan for a date next week/weekend for people to stop by once we have had a chance to organize the dresses and suits. We will post the date/times next week unless someone needs their loaner dress/suit before then, please call 250-551-0929. I know I haven’t been able to thank everyone who reached out but please know we are very thankful to all of you and to live in such an amazing part of the Southern Interior! The Kootenays are simply amazing!

If any grads are in need of a last minute suit or grad dress we are at Cinderella’s closet until 4 pm today. No appointment needed- come and try on dresses/suits. We are also accepting donations today.
