"THE SONG IN MY NIGHT" BOOK TOUR I recently went on a road trip to Burns Lake and area with my brother Matthew and his family. The trip was an opportunity to spend time with my brother, as well as distribute my mom's book to museum's and book stores in cities and towns along route. I especially wanted to visit Hugh Neaves who used to own Neaves General Store in Southbank, where mom's story took place. Spry and full of life he sat down to engage us in lively tales of his life and days spent at Southbank. Being a poet and musician himself, Hugh was especially happy to receive a copy of my mom's book "The Song in my Night." I was very happy to have met such a wonderful Christian man and felt I had made a new friend.
