An eagle eyed reader alerted me that today is actually August 26th...yes pickings on today!

LAST DAY of upicking haskaps! Heads up : only 50/50 today, (no purchasing berries). August 25, 10 am - 4 pm, or until finished (maybe earlier finish).

Well we will go with a 1 pm-5 pm picking time, to give the field a chance to dry out and the clouds to dissipate. Fingers crossed! So today, Monday August 24, from 1 pm - 5 pm. If it still looks iffy at noon I will do another post, but otherwise it will be a go.

Today, Saturday August 22, we will pick from 12 - 5 pm, giving the heavy dew time to dry off the bushes. Being your plastic buckets, (no bags please) and maybe something to sit on.

UPick is cancelled Saturday August 15 due to rain. We are taking the long weekend off so no picking Sunday and Monday. Resume picking Tuesday, August 18 at 10 am.

NEW at the market today...Black Currant Jam, Black Currant and Haskap Jam, and more Haskap Jam. Yum!

Haskap UPick is closed on Thursday because of the Fireweed Market, but we have an exciting new product this week! A Haskap and sweet Basil Apple Cider Vinegar infusion with garlic, ginger and black peppercorns. Delicious in whichever way you want to use it.

We are going to open today for UPick. I advise however that you wait till this afternoon to give the field a chance to dry out. We had rain last night. It should be good by 1 pm.

Another wet day. Looks like we will resume Wednesday with haskap picking.

Its raining ...no picking Monday. We will see about tomorrow.

Monday July 27 morning update: Looks like its too wet this am to pick. The forecast is not good either. However I will give another update at 1 pm. Just in case!

U-Pick starts Saturday, August 25, at 10 am, and goes until 4 pm, weather permitting. We are CLOSED on Sundays AND Thursdays (because of the Fireweed Community market). Re-open again on Monday, August 27 at 10 am, weather permitting. You need to check this Facebook page every time you want to come out to make sure we are open, as the weather has been very fickle this year...and sometimes we have rain and Whitehorse doesnt, and visa versa.
