Many people feel a calling to serve. Many more have a willingness to do so. For Keon Flamont, it goes far beyond that for him, it is a sense of duty and responsibility. For more than 10 years now, Keon has been helping to shape the direction of The Circle Project, by sitting on our council and helping to ensure that our mission statement is fully carried out through the work that we do.... For Keon, his biggest hope is that The Circle Project continues to serve. His work leading our fundraising efforts ensures that we are able to do so.

Every year on November 11, Canadians pause in a moment of silence to honour and remember the men and women who have served and continue to serve Canada during times of war, conflict and peace. We remember the more than 1,500,000 Canadians who have served throughout our nation’s history and the more than 118,000 who made the ultimate sacrifice. The Circle Project’s Staff and Council would like to take a moment to honour these men and women.

People of relative means aren’t often placed in a position where they are forced to stop and think not only about what financial stability offers but the extended reach and implications of the things we acquire through said stability. Things like organized sports and after school programs are parts of our lives - and the lives of our children - which we often take for granted. But, for members of the Circle Project Community, those things are quite simply out of reach. Our mission is to help bring those programs closer to grasp. Because the first step toward enriching our community, is enriching the lives of the people who are a part of it.

OUR MISSION The Circle Project provides support and programs based on the Aboriginal vision of wholeness, balance, and healing. By promoting positive human development, we encourage people to help themselves through education, cultural awareness, family, and community.

Circle Project Council and Staff would like to thank Conexus Credit Union for allowing us the opportunity to share the story of Circle Project and the impact that Conexus has made with the generous donation of a building to help us build a permanent home in the heart of North Central Regina. With this gift, we will continue to make a positive impact on the lives of families in the community. We would also like to express our greatest appreciation for naming Circle Project as the Conexus AGM Charity of Choice!

Circle Project is happy to announce that we are breaking ground on the new front entrance addition at our Infant & Toddler Centre located at Dewdney and Lewvan. This improvement to our facility will give our parents and staff the extra space needed to increase safety to transition the children in and out of our Centre. The addition will increase energy efficiency by providing a buffer to prevent the cold air from spreading through the building. Most importantly, our new and significantly larger front entrance will increase accessibility for families that need it. Thank you to Early Learning & Childcare Branch, City of Regina | Municipal Government, Gilchuk Design and Drafting Ltd and PR Investments Construction. We can hardly wait to use the new space just in time for winter!
