LIMITED QUANTITIES! We just got a small shipment of our custom made "MecKenzieWEAR" Tees! Here is the backstory. Our granddaughter Meckenzie, painted a picture for her grandpa Brian (me), a few years ago. She was inspired by other images she saw, and did this painting my hand. I was so thrilled with it, the painting hangs in an important spot in our business. This year, with my great business relationship I have with Minuteman Press in Leduc, I decided to turn her creation into T-shirts. These Tees, are from "Eurospuntees", made from 100% combed and ring spun Cotton. They feel fantastic and don't curl around the neck! We have S, MD, L, XL and 2XL in stock. Limited quantities on sizes, so if you like these, consider dropping by before Christmas. They are $29.95/each.

FINALLY: It has been a hard 8-weeks, but we are pretty much ready. The street signage is not installed and we expect to see it either tomorrow or Friday. However, we will open tomorrow at 10AM. Please call for repair appointments as we shake down the new location. Also, our winter hours will be changed due to classes we are teaching, the first session coming up on the 16th, so please watch for our or visit our website for information on these winter hours.

Today we completed a restoration for a customer from Leduc. This bicycle was in distress as the images show. It came to us in pieces and many were rusty with severe corrosion setting in. The process is really simple. Clean all parts, and removed rust when needed. In this case the wheels needed to be completely rebuilt as the spokes and spoke nipples were rusted and galvanized in place. Spokes were removed by cutting, and chrome rims restored using cleaners and elbows grease.... New spokes, spoke nipples and in this case we also used reconditioned hubs that we had restored and stocked for such an occasion. New tubes, tires, cables, pedals, wheel & BB bearings, chain as well as repair the brakes with new adjusters and pads. The bicycle is reassembled and ready to go back to the owners. We warranty our restorations for a one year period. Photos Attached.

We are asked why we recommend that a new bicycle bought online or at a Big Box Store be fully tuned-up before riding. This video is an excellent example. Seen here is the bottom bracket opened for the first time. No grease to be found. If this had been ridden the customer would nor know why they did nit enjoy it. The amount of effort is magnified and the life of the bicycle severley reduced. A full tuneup will include proper packing od the BB bears, wheel bearings and dead tube bearings.
