Hey good people! Happy to see that everyone shoveled out after this recent snowfall! We are entering into a winter with an added challenge in these COVID times. Here are some suggestions for thriving through all of this: 1) Stay active! Yes it's winter...but we're used to this! Get outside when you can...physical activity creates a healthier body! ... 2) Refuel your body with nutritious meals and snacks. COVID snacking may not be the best way to go! 3) We are social beings...we need people! Good self care means surrounding yourself with supportive people...Your "social bubble" may be limited to a small group of family or friends right now, but you can still be involved with them...with a little effort, make the time. 4) Maintain a routine when you can. Think about work/ life balance and take charge of the things you can control...let go of the things you can't. 5) Talk with people you trust about how your feeling, and be a good listener for your friends and colleagues too. Sometimes we need a sounding board! Finally, be patient with yourself. This is a marathon not a sprint. But you've got this! Give a shout if you need anything! ~~ The Network Stay in contact with those you care about!
