I chose private practice to have days like this. Spent the day with my family enjoying each other’s company and the autumn sunshine. I taught my older son how to make pancakes and we discussed the chemical reactions happening as our breakfast cooked. We went down to the river to see the salmon swim up river and learnt about the salmon life cycle. It’s been a rough month with all the uncertainty about school for one of my kids. I’ve decided to refocus my energies this month to take better care of myself so I can take care of those that I love. @portcoquitlamhit is a big part of my self-care routine.
