New Report on urban commons In October 2019, CITIES accompanied a team of researchers, civil servants, and field practitioners from Barcelona and Montreal to Seoul on a study mission. Their rich exchanges and observations of the urban commons initiatives in Seoul served as the basis for this new report published by CITIES. The report analyzes the data gathered during the week-long mission in Seoul and also includes notable cases of urban commons from Barcelona and Montreal. CITIES is working in support of the Department of Social and Solidarity Economy (SSE) of the Ministry of Morocco in the development of the next National SSE Strategy. To this end, we are maintaining our consultation work through webinars throughout the week. Thank you again for these rich exchanges!

CITIES has met Eva, a cooperative ride-sharing application based on blockchain and retraces its history, its ambitions. CITIES also questions the adaptability of this model in other countries such as South Korea.

The FSMET is coming! The World Social Forum for Transformative Economies will be held in Barcelona from 25 to 28 June 2020! The Offices jeunesse internationaux du Québec (LOJIQ), in collaboration with the Comité québécois de soutien au (FSMÉT) is calling for applications for the participation of fifteen young people aged 18 to 35 years old.
