CITT/ICTS would like to invite you to join Claire Carolan PhD in a presentation sure to help any educator get ready for the first day of school! As Claire's pri...mary research has largely been focussed on teaching technical theatre in an online or distance education setting, she has some wonderful insights that will help you run your classes more smoothly and help make your delivery more engaging to your students. The Event Industry may not survive the next 100 days! Like many industries, the event and entertainment industry has been completely halted because of Covid-19.... And although restrictions are starting to ease and people are getting back to a ‘new’ normal, the event industry is still so far away from being able to resume. The large gatherings of patrons and fans isn’t feasible in today’s Covid-19 world, so we need our government’s support to help us survive and adapt to the new restrictions and provide everyone with a safe environment to continue to enjoy the events they love. In an attempt to rescue the events industry, Showtech AVL and Innovation Lighting will be joining a global event called Night of Light, by illuminating the front of the Queen Elizabeth Theatre in a wash of red. We invite you to join us to light up your building or local landmark in red, starting at 10pm, and use the hashtag #NightofLight2020 #NightofLight2020Vancouver. Help save the Event Industry
