Area: 19th Avenue from 92nd Street to 99th Street. Impact: Rolling street closures, one block at a time. Reason: City Roadways Department clearing windrows from the street. Impact: Street closed, no through traffic. Reason: Crane lift at intersection for sign maintenance. Building a safer, welcoming community with community engagement. The Community Safety Officers (CSO) received a call about kids sliding too close to the highway from King Hill yesterday. Turns out the kids were sliding safely and under parental supervision. The Community Safety Officers then gave away some bike helmets and swim passes to the Credit Union CUplex Battlefords CO-OP Aquatic Centre.
