I know many of you want to get married. And we want to get you married too! The City of Kingston has declared a state of emergency. They are no longer issuing marriage licenses. As well, marriage officiants are considered non-essential services by the province of Ontario. We simply cannot, for the safety of others, conduct weddings at this time. We hope the Coronovirus is eliminated soon, for the health and safety of all. Remember: Love one another.

City Hall Weddings Kingston is a non-essential service according to the provincial government's new law, we are unable to conduct weddings at this time. We hope you all stay safe and healthy and when this is over, we'll be back in full swing, adding dates and times and getting you MARRIED!

Good morning. City Hall Weddings Kingston is suspending all weddings for March due to the unprecedented events related to Covid-19. All weddings WILL TAKE PLACE when we can safely reschedule. It simply is not safe to have your wedding at this time due to the risk of spread to me, my employees and your guests. We respect the Prime Minister's plea to ask all people to STAY AT HOME if we can. Folks, we can. We CAN help stop the spread. And we will.

We are following the recommendations of public health officials to slow the spread of COVID-19 in our community. We are wiping down surfaces with disinfectant, keeping more physical distance from couples and guests and although it is difficult, not shaking hands or hugging you. Strict hand sanitizing protocols are in place. You and your guests will be required to use the hand sanitizer provided before your wedding.... The limit on guests is firm. Do not bring extra guests. If you or any of your guests have a cough or show signs of illness upon arrival, they will be asked to go home, for everyone’s safety. We have free wifi at City Hall. For guests that are ill or feel it’s safer to watch from home, we will work with you to skype, facetime and use messenger video to include them in the wedding. Should you wish to post-pone your wedding, we will happily do that for you with no fees. We’ll hold your deposit for you until we can reschedule with you.
