We'll be closed this Monday, October 14th, for a collective food coma, but open regular hours the rest of the weekend with heaps new stuff to see! The shop's been painstakingly spookified this week, from the front window back through every nook and cranny we could find. Hundreds more newly-arrived comics now on sale for a buck, bittiest indies through the biggest superheros.... Big collection of feminist lit, poetry, philosophy, comics and criticism hitting the shelves, including the much-requested Alison Bechdel, bell hooks, Dacia Maraini, and a half-dozen volumes from the great Canadian poet and novelist Anne Cameron. Vinyl bins downstairs have been blessed with a bunch of great 70s & 80s albums: Kate Bush, B-52s, Clash, Kinks, Heaven 17, Squeeze, XTC and more. Even MORE records added up on the second floor, where almost every print and magazine is now 50% off. Hope to see y'all haunting our halls!
