Meet (half) of Bhaloo! This super soft, fluffy boy was nervous but curious as hecc of me. His safe spot was this little nook behind the bed and it took me forever to win him over, but with the help of some tube treats- he eventually came out to say Henlo! It’s a completely different approach between meeting cats and dogs in this job. ... Some cats would be all over me when I walked in- and some, like Bhaloo would run away in hiding. I would never force cats to come out and interact with me, I let them know right when I walk in the door that it’s me and be very obvious about where I head in the house. Owners are their best advocate, they let me know what their cats prefer (to be left alone or not).
