We have this young and fun loving patient who is always a little shy about her smile. She did not feel the confidence to exhibit her full potential and show her true self because in the back of her mind, she is feeling a bit self conscious about the spacing nether teeth. She was dissatisfied with the mal-alignment of her upper teeth and the posterior cross bite. At the same time ready to finally replace the missing lower molars that were extracted many years ago. She does not have major cosmetic concerns, but more so wants to ensure the proper function and longevity of her teeth. Therefore, we decide...d to do Invisalign, minor cosmetic re-contouring of her teeth, cosmetic bonding on the upper right central incisor and a couple lower implants for missing tooth replacement. The end result not only provides a better, healthier occlusion, but also fully restored the function and cosmetic concerns of missing lower molars. She has very nice teeth and a beautiful smile to start with, however, she was not happy with the appearance of her teeth and the white spots. She wants to have a broader smile and teeth in a more uniform whiter shade without any hypo-calcification spots. We were able to achieve it with very conservative preparation and mainly additive technique. We also correct her minor discrepancy of the gum line to provide a better symmetry. This is a case we completed few months back with a lovely gentleman, who has severe dental anxiety, but ready to take on a leap of faith in me to build the smile he has been looking for. He had not seen a dentist for a very long time and have some missing teeth that needs to be replaced as well. We were both very excited to get the case started and the end result is beautiful. He had the smile he had always dreamed of and on the bonus side, he has a much better attitude towards dentistry and I’m happy to say that he is not that anxious towards dental treatment anymore. We have a lovely gentleman here who was not too happy with his smile. But more so worry about the function and health of his teeth. He had severely crowded upper and lower arch with anterior cross bite and one complete blocked out lower left canine. He does not want anything fancy, but just want his teeth to loo...k straighter with a broader smile, but most importantly to be healthy. Therefore, we decided to proceed with Invisalign treatment with minor cosmetic re-contouring. The whole case takes about 2 yrs with 6 months full time retention, then converted to night time only. We are so happy to finally get to insert his case this week and the photos are the immediate insert post-op. We replaced several of his missing posterior teeth with splint implant supported bridge and ceramic restorations from tooth 13 to 25. She felt like her teeth are worn down and yellow, and would like to know the options for a little cosmetic uplift. At the same time, she does not want to go all the way to have ceramic restorations (veneers) done, due to slight higher price point and that we will have to partially r...educe her tooth structure in this case. Therefore, we recommended cosmetic bonding instead. Here we have a case with no preparation, purely addictive technique from lateral to lateral incisors (4 upper front teeth). One session treatment with direct composite resin build up, the session is about an hour and half, and we reached a great cosmetic outcome that satisfied everyone. We used slightly lighter shade as patient’s request so she can whiten the rest of her teeth to match her new gorgeous smile.
