Galaxy Motors on the Island Highway usually looks like this, but you may notice the cars are gone. The City has received an application to rezone one of the three properties there, at 1764 Island Highway, from Highway Commercial to Mixed Use Employment. The property is larger than it looks, stretching back beyond Wilfert Road all the way to Millstream Creek below. The proposal was discussed by Committee of the Whole on December 7, 2020.
