The City of Dauphin has applied to the Public Utilities Board (PUB) for revised water and wastewater rates for the Dauphin Water and Wastewater Utility. Rates were last approved in 2013. Students from Mrs. Balchen's second grade class at Henderson Elementary School have been working on their writing and drawing skills! Mayor Allen Dowhan received several letters from the students letting him know their favourite parts of our City and asked him some fun questions! Mayor Dowhan wishes he could fulfill their request and visit their class but due to COVID-19, he will respond by mailing a class letter! The City of Dauphin would like to remind residents that all dog and cat owners are required to purchase an annual dog/cat license for their pets. Licensing your pet is the best way to help your pet return home safely in the event of an escape. If an escaped and licensed pet is found, the City of Dauphin's Animal Control Officer can trace and make contact with the owner from our licensing database. The 2021 dog/cat licenses are available for purchase from City Hall and are val...id from January 1, 2021 until December 31, 2021. When applying for or renewing your dog/cat license(s) at City Hall, you must have current written proof of rabies vaccination for every dog/cat over the age of 6 months, and a veterinary certificate for each newly spayed or neutered dog/cat where proof has not been previously shown.
