Due to the unseasonably cold weather, the City would like to remind residents that your water lines may be at risk of freezing. Luckily, there are simple steps you can take to prevent issues, such as installing a bleeder valve or leaving a tap running in your home. Keeping a continuous flow of water into your home is the best way to prevent your water service from freezing when the line is exposed to frost. Click here for more info: https://www.fernie.ca//city/water-sewer/frozen-water-pipes
