Mayor Walt Cobb and Councillor Marnie Brenner urge everyone to continue to follow the Provincial Health Order, and emphasize the importance of compassion and working together to keep our communities safe.

The updated Provincial Health Officer’s Order on Gatherings and Events released on December 2, 2020 requires local governments to once again restrict members of the public from attending meetings of Council, including public hearings, in person. https://www.williamslake.ca/CivicAlerts.aspx?AID=555

A water main break was identified on Hodgson Road near the truck wash station and Wotzke Drive intersection on January 10, 2021. During repair work, two additional breaks were discovered. Repairs have been made and the line was re-pressurized in the early evening of January 12, 2021. A Boil Water Advisory remains for customers in the Westridge and Golf Course subdivisions, Terra Ridge and along Wotzke Drive and Hodgson Road. They are advised to heat water to a rolling boil for 2 minutes before using for drinking, brushing teeth, and making ice or beverages. https://www.williamslake.ca/CivicAlerts.aspx?AID=560
