Hagel Contracting Ltd specializes in Comercial site preparation, earthworks, and underground utilities. We are looking for a dedicated estimator who can fit in well and grow with our company. Summary: To create accurate and complete cost estimates of construction projects. Construction activities to be estimated include: site preparation, earthwork, and underground utilities. Strong time management skills, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.... Duties and Responsibilities: Create cost estimates for incoming construction projects. Accurately estimate materials, equipment, subcontracted work, production rates and labor expenses for construction projects. Perform quantity takeoff using construction documents and drawings. Review incoming bid proposals. Interpret and understand construction documents and drawings. Analyze scope descriptions. Prepares subcontractor Request for Proposals if required.
